Tumbled
Heaven
Burning houses, stumbling building, crying people,
slaughtered body and marks of blood and war settled at the former place of the
city of Troy after the Greeks had attacked it. Aeneas and some acquaintances
escaped the city the find another place to build another empire and reestablish
the pride of the Trojans. As Aeneas is escaping from the city of Troy, he felt
like birds that lost their flight, horses that broke their legs and a boar cut
into half. His city means everything to him. Ever since he was born, the city
of Troy became his training ground to become a good leader.
To leave his land was the hardest challenge that Aeneas faced. His feeling can be compared to a child that lost his mother. It is like your heart being tiered apart without any anesthesia. Aeneas was losing hope but he decided to stood up and wipe the dirt on his face and decided to bring up the pride of the Trojans.
I felt pity for Aeneas’ himself and his land, Troy. I felt pity for Aeneas because they fell for a trap that they could manage not to. His land and fellow Trojans were destroyed hardheartedly by the Greeks. Also, he will travel far just to find another place to stay to and be there in peace. But the most terrible reason of mine why I felt pity for Aeneas is that they tried to be sympathetic and considerate for the peace offering of the Greeks but then, they were just fooled and that mistake became the bridge for the Greeks to destroy Troy. I also felt pity about the city of Troy because the land was destroyed without any mercy and it was powdered without any defense by its people.
After Aeneas felt, I realized that there are many bogus people around that can hurt and punish you when you let them get into your life. Also, do not trust people easily. Choose those people who deserve your trust. Trusting others that you do not know as a whole might lead to dreadful situations.
