Wives are Wives

There are many differences between any people in the world. But I believe that wives are same from each other. They think the same way, they reason out the same way and care the same way. They are sensitive when it comes to their love ones. I know some wives that are very caring and understanding to their husbands and family. They are trying their very best to do the right thing and to make the right decisions for their love ones. They are always thinking about the position of their love ones and they do not care about themselves. They are willing to sacrifice anything just for the sake of those people who are important to them.

Creusa, the wife of Aeneas is a caring and understanding wife. Being a wife of a leader that is prone to danger is not that easy. But like any of the mothers always do, they can fit right into the situations and can understand the rights and responsibilities of her husband. Creusa tries to stop Aeneas from going to Rome and just stay in their home where they are just peacefully living together. When Aeneas and them decided to flee Troy, she was lost and got killed. She just let Aeneas go and fulfil his destiny because she knows that it is the right thing to do and that is for the sake of those people who are leaning on Aeneas.

Andromache, the wife of Hector is a good and kind wife to him. She always understands the deeds of Hector to her and to the city. She understands the responsibilities of her husband so that she is not demanding for attention or special time to her. Of course, she is the wife but she rather not takes time with Hector if Hector has a responsibility to do. She lets Hector fulfil destiny and to fulfil his dreams for the land of their home.

The two of them are very much alike according to the characteristics that they possess. They really understand the sacrifice that they should do just for the sake of their love ones even though the things are prohibited from inside her heart. Aeneas and Hector are alike because they are needed by the lands of them both and the responsibilities that they do are not that much far from each other. The give and take relationship can be a good cycle to both of the two couples.

Every relationship in this world should be ready to take sacrifices just for the sake of others. All of that is alright because if you have the commitment to each other and you love each other so much then there is nothing in the world that can stop you’re feelings with each other.

Diamond in the Rough

The most blissful victory that one can attain is that when he climbed from dirt and such difficulties and somehow enables himself to reach his goal or his ultimate dream. The challenges along the road help the person to be strong enough to encourage himself to strive better and eager himself to touch goal. That person who climbed from the bottom feels immortal when he is standing at the top of the mountain and waving his victory flag. There are many inspiring stories that the person achieved victory because he never gave up along the way and he learned from his mistakes. But most of all, the reason why they succeeded is because they never put their selves down and continued fighting ‘till the end.

I know one guy that had been there, done that but never failed to motivate his self and because of that matter, he succeeded and gained much power that he ever expected. Aeneas the leader of the desperate warriors of the fallen land of Troy had been an example for me. He fought his way back from the death of his father, the tricks and schemes of Juno and the never ending obstacles that he encountered during his way to find another land to build another kingdom and one again raise the flag of the Trojans. He never quit and he used his mind and heart in facing the challenges and in making the right decisions for those people that believe in him. He can be a good inspiration for those people who are experiencing that kind of trouble. An inspiration that proves anyone that everyone can stand up from mud and clean his self and be able to write his own triumphant story.

Anyone can pass through different challenges and earn his own conquest behind those people that helped him and the challenges that made him stronger. A triumphant comeback is the most delicious victory that anyone can achieve.

These challenges and difficulties that we are now facing is just a glimpse of what is problem all about. If we give up easily we can never call ourselves human being because a true human being can resist and overcome all problems that God had given to them. There are truly diamonds in the rough in this world. Even the smallest and dirtiest appearance can be the biggest and finest thing that God had been trying to tell.

Tumbled Heaven

Burning houses, stumbling building, crying people, slaughtered body and marks of blood and war settled at the former place of the city of Troy after the Greeks had attacked it. Aeneas and some acquaintances escaped the city the find another place to build another empire and reestablish the pride of the Trojans. As Aeneas is escaping from the city of Troy, he felt like birds that lost their flight, horses that broke their legs and a boar cut into half. His city means everything to him. Ever since he was born, the city of Troy became his training ground to become a good leader.

To leave his land was the hardest challenge that Aeneas faced. His feeling can be compared to a child that lost his mother. It is like your heart being tiered apart without any anesthesia. Aeneas was losing hope but he decided to stood up and wipe the dirt on his face and decided to bring up the pride of the Trojans.

I felt pity for Aeneas’ himself and his land, Troy. I felt pity for Aeneas because they fell for a trap that they could manage not to. His land and fellow Trojans were destroyed hardheartedly by the Greeks. Also, he will travel far just to find another place to stay to and be there in peace. But the most terrible reason of mine why I felt pity for Aeneas is that they tried to be sympathetic and considerate for the peace offering of the Greeks but then, they were just fooled and that mistake became the bridge for the Greeks to destroy Troy. I also felt pity about the city of Troy because the land was destroyed without any mercy and it was powdered without any defense by its people.

After Aeneas felt, I realized that there are many bogus people around that can hurt and punish you when you let them get into your life. Also, do not trust people easily. Choose those people who deserve your trust. Trusting others that you do not know as a whole might lead to dreadful situations.

Allen greeted me how am I today and I replied I'm fine. I asked him about his day and he replied I'm fine too.
I asked him about what team in the NBA he thinks that will win this year. He replied the Miami Heat and he asked me how about me. I answered the Miami Heat too and I said that the  Brooklyn Nets have a chance.
Allen asked me about the star player of the Nets and I replied that Joe Johnson and Deron Williams form their star backcourt.
Allen was amazed because he never knew that Deron Williams transferred to the Brooklyn Nets and he was grateful me for the information.
I added that Reggie Miller said that the big three can only win if Lebron James acts like the superstar of the team. Allen replied that he wished that Lebron can be that great to lift his teammates and he stated that he believes in the technique of Erick Spoelstra.
Allen said goodbye for now and I replied goodbye now and see him tomorrow.

Your Enigmatic Smile

Imagine of something that intrigues you when you see it. That it is like a mysterious thing that keeps you think of the answer. Probably, it’s hard to think but one example is the enigmatic smile of Leonardo’s Mona Lisa painting. The happiness of the smile is there but the smile not only means happy. It means a lot of things that Mona Lisa is experiencing. And it is not only the Enigmatic smile which gave the painting its popularity, there are also crimes and statements from Leonardo itself that gave a full boost to the painting towards popularity.

Many speculations, experiments and debates were done just to describe and know the real meaning of Mona Lisa’s peculiar smile. All have contrasting and likely ideas. I have much speculations and questions about the painting itself. Why Leonardo does paint the picture? Why does he put that kind of smile?  What is the purpose of Leonardo in painting that picture? Many questions stop by our minds when we see or hear about Mona Lisa.

I can describe Mona Lisa as a lady sitting on a bench with a disease. She’s like a lady that accomplished all the she wants in her life but there are some things or persons that she disgusts of. The smile describes her and as a human being, she got imperfections too. That people expect her to be perfect. She was disgusted with the fact that not all people dressed in beautiful clothes are beautiful within.

Mona Lisa, as an overall painting, is like the normal painting that I always see. But that smile puts a diamond in the rough. The painting Mona Lisa is the second most expensive painting in the world and probably, the most intriguing painting.

After all the intrigues, speculations and crimes, the painting by Mona Lisa always stay the same and the marks of history sheds in its texture. The painting itself marked its history in human tradition and in the field of arts. The excellence of Leonardo and his painting will exist in this world forever.

Life in a Sudden Death

Its early afternoon, when things suddenly went from good to wrong. All terrible things that you can imagine to happen to a teenager happened to me. Life means nothing when these kinds of things are happening to you. That feeling when you want to die knowing that your life would mean nothing if you continue living. Probably, I was thinking about that. I decided to just walk away and start a new journey of life all by myself.

A walk in a park starts my journey. A frowning face fills my head. Different voices talk to me and saying, “Just die for the better.” Bitterness fills the air like I was struck by thunder and hurricane at the same time. As I walk to the pathways of the park, I see a guy sitting on the bench and seem like crying. I approach him and say what’s going on and if he is alright. The guy just opened his book and stare at me with sadness. He said that even fellow Christian do not believe him. His books were published but they needed to beg money for it to be published. He was sentenced into jail after he was caught by the guards of the Spanish men by a reason that his books were insulting to the government. Even though he fought for the good without shedding blood on anyone’s body., but still, he was sentence to death and he say to me that his death penalty will be occurring tomorrow on this very park. He holds my shoulders and whispers, “Even though your life is in a storm, try to look up and search for the sun.” This is the time that I realized that I will waste my life by being bitter about the happenings that occurred and occurring to me. But instead I made a decision that I will do anything with hard work to turn around things and fight for the good. The man stood up, he gave me his book and said farewell to me. When read the pages of the book, it is quite old and when I look at its title, it is “Noli Me Tangere” That moment, I guess that the guy beside me earlier is no other than Dr. Jose P. Rizal. I stood up and I walk back to our house.

When you feel like you are the worst person in the world, think for a second. There are many people that sacrificed their lives just for you. Don’t attempt to end your life because it is the greatest gift that God had given us. Enjoy your life and live it to the fullest. Don’t just give up for problems. Be strong and take it lightly and work hard to solve it and to have a better life. Turn around and see people, they have problems too.

Abyssus in schola

After a tiring day at our school, I went home and eat my dinner. A usual day, nothing new. I decided to go to sleep and I suddenly heard a mysterious voice. The voice is taunting me and I was pulled inside a dark hole by a man-like beast. I woke up lying on a rock and I’m in front of a huge gate and there, there is a sign that says “Welcome to Hell.” Just beside the gate, I saw my class adviser who said that she will accompany me in my journey through the hell.

In the first circle of hell, we saw a giant with its sword. He is the guard of the hell who place the spirits in their rightful place in hell. In the first circle, those souls of students who are always late will take squats forever. My adviser said that this hell is for the souls of the students who made mistakes when they are in their school days. We proceed to the second circle by passing through the bridge made of wasted papers.

In the second circle, we saw the spirits of those students who gave nicknames to their teachers. There, I saw my classmate when I was in elementary who gave a nickname for our math teacher. The souls in the second circle are punished by sewing their lips and they are chained in a freezing chamber. Mostly of the souls there are boys.

In the third circle, the souls of those students that do not attend class or cutting their classes are submerged in hot water while their feet are twisting. The demon with sharp claws are guarding them. When a soul tries to escape, the demon punishes it by tearing its soul apart and the soul will be thrown to the last circle.

In the fourth circle of hell, the souls of those students who cheated in their tests were punished by demons by striking them by spears forever. As the spear tore the skin of them, they heal and they will be struck by the spears again.

In the fifth circle, the souls of those students who use their classmates as an advantage to their studies are punished by beheading them and then their heads will grow up again then they will be beheaded again. They will behead their fellow souls then they use swords as their tool.

In the sixth circle, the souls that did not listen to the teacher’s discussion for everyday classes. Their ears are removed and their eyes will be smashed then go back to normal and the cycle continues. The souls there are mostly girls.

In the seventh circle, there are souls of students who change their original scores just to get high. As punishment, their hands and arms are tied together. Their bones are removed and their tongues are cut.

In the eighth circle, the souls are those students who consider school as place of battle not place of learning. The students take their classmates as enemies for the ranking. The souls are punished by submerging their bodies into icy water and the waters contain demon fishes that bite their bodies.

In the last circle, there are souls that regret schooling even though they have the chance to go to school. The souls are punished by a multiple hurricane in the circle and the souls are thrown away in different directions. In the deepest part of the ninth circle, there is a person who you could not notice if it is a man or a woman that rules over the hell. He tried to eat me but my adviser sacrificed herself. But the demon will kill me then I closed my eyes then suddenly, I opened my eyes and the first thing that I saw is my alarm clock and it’s already six in the morning. My mother told me that I had a nightmare. And probably, my journey through hell is just a bad dream afteral…
